Optimization of the home screen design with the introduction of newly designed pop-up notification windows.
When using the Klick&Show 4K transmitters, the options for customizing the 2 auxiliary buttons have been extended and now offer direct access to the following functions:
full screen, pause (freeze), HDMI switching, share local content, camera switching, USB hub switching.
The language translation of the possible options for the customer-specific adaptation of the 4K transmitter auxiliary buttons has been optimized and standardized.

The "Pause transmission (freeze)" function, triggered either by the auxiliary button on the 4K transmitter or by the Klick&Show Apphas been optimized and now overlays the access parameters at the top of the screen.
This allows participants who join the meeting later using either Klick&Show App or native protocols can be offered assistance and the parameters required for a connection, such as device name and PIN, can be briefly displayed.
The link/URL displayed in the animated Klick&Show home screen to download the Klick/Show App ("KlickandShow.com/client") can now be customized if an administrator wishes to make the driver available at a different location (e.g. in the internal company network) and wants to display this accordingly on the home screen for users. The options for using a customer-specific home screen have been extensively optimized. Fixed an issue where K-FX Plus in firmware K5202 could not complete the boot process correctly when 2 HDMI displays were connected at the same time.

This firmware version represents a comprehensive upgrade with important improvements and is therefore recommended for all users.
After installing the firmware, we strongly recommend performing a reset in order to initialize the parameters of new functions correctly.
Only then should existing transmitters be paired and further configuration carried out.

Changes/Improvements:

A new "Plug&Play" version of the BYOM driver now enables installation under Windows in combination with a Klick&Show transmitter without the need for administrator rights.
(Note: The driver components required for this are loaded via the Windows Update service after connecting a transmitter. The loading process typically takes 2-3 minutes. If in rare cases the driver is not automatically loaded and executed even after this time, please check your Internet connection or open Windows Settings -> Windows Update and click on "Check for updates" to initiate the loading process manually).
New filter/sort function in the Klick&Show appto be able to filter the selection list after a scan of existing base devices in the network for faster access.
Optimization of the home screen design and introduction of a new Klick&Show icon.
Newly designed status icons on the home screen show the operating mode of the connected UC devices with K-FX Plus hub switching:
BYOM operation on the user's laptop or wired signal forwarding to a stationary PC.
With new 4K transmitters, the functional assignment of the 2 auxiliary buttons can be customized. The following can be selected:
USB hub switching, camera switching, display content release (of the main display), HDMI switching, pause transmission (freeze).
The new "USB SWITCH" button on the K-FX Plus is deactivated at the factory to prevent incorrect operation. After enabling the button function, you can choose between the following operating modes: automatic switching, BYOM only, USB-B host transfer only.
A setting option has been added to the web configuration menu to hide the date and time display on the Home screen. This can prevent the display of inaccurate times if the date/time has not been configured manually and/or devices cannot communicate with online time servers.
In the "Wireless Network" web submenu, the option to configure the internal access point is blocked if the administrator is connected wirelessly to the web menu at this time, as otherwise their connection would be interrupted. A corresponding message now appears to make the desired changes via a wired Ethernet connection.
Optimization of stability and performance for transmissions with Airplay
K-FX Plus now allows Airplay transmission with up to 4K UHD resolution.
The new dual-screen function of K-FX Plus can be configured in 3 operating modes: Mirroring, 4+1, 1+4.
Option for customer-specific assignment of the 2 GPI contacts on K-FX Plus. The following options are available: USB hub switching, camera switching, HDMI switching.

Bug fixes:

The problem that has existed since the introduction of Apple MacOS version 14.1 Sonomawhich led to an error in the installation routine of the virtual BYOM driver of Klick&Show virtual BYOM driver under MacOS, which caused the installation of the video driver to fail, has been resolved. Due to stricter data protection guidelines in MacOS Sonama, please refer to our notes on macOS Sonoma in the "Documentation" section of this page.
Various minor bug fixes.
