Changes/Improvements:

Implementation of the near-field detection function. The Klick&Show base units use a combination of ultrasound and Bluetooth to enable the user laptop to identify the base unit in the room and, if desired, even establish the connection automatically to simplify the connection setup for purely software-based use.
Integration of a WiFi analyzer in the web menu of the Klick&Show base unit, which simplifies the search for a free WiFi channel during commissioning if the base unit is to be operated in access point mode.
An option to select the WLAN channel width has been added. This allows administrators to select the specific channel width for wireless connections, including settings such as HT20, HT40 and VHT80.
The UCC Device Manager now offers an optimized speaker test signal in the USB Audio section to better assess the playback quality for human speech in online meetings.

Bug fixes:

Fixes a bug that caused the transfer of the extended desktop under Windows when using software-only with Klick&Show App leads to incorrect behavior.
Fixes a bug in the Klick&Show App for MacOS, whereby the manual IP-based search and the "A-Z" sorting of base devices found in the network did not work correctly.

Known Errors:

Caused by a bug in Apple's iOS26 operating system, an Airplay connection setup can fail in certain cases if security level 2 with required Airplay code entry is preset. Without code entry (in security level 1) the problem does not occur. A workaround already implemented in this firmware minimizes the frequency of this phenomenon.

After installing the firmware, we strongly recommend performing a reset in order to initialize the parameters of new functions correctly.
Only then should existing transmitters be paired and further configuration carried out.

Optimization of the K-FleX WebUI for downloading Klick&Show apps, as follows:
a) In the basic version, K-FleX provides the "BYOD" version of the apps in the WebUI.
b) After entering the optional BYOM license key, K-FleX provides the "BYOD + BYOM" version of the apps in the WebUI (as well as in the Transmitter CD-ROM). (*)

Note: The "BYOD" version of the App dispenses with the App driver required for processing USB audio/video signals, as the basic version of K-FleX (without optional license key) does not support BYOM.

Bug fixes:

Fixes a bug that prevents the download of future firmware updates via OTA (Over-the-Air).
The problem described in firmware history K4204 under "Known errors point 1." when using the third-party product Sennheiser TeamConnect Bar S/M has been fixed. (*)

Due to the phenomenon described in "Troubleshooting point 1.", this update can only be installed manually via WebUI or USB flash drive. Automatic loading of OTA updates is then possible for future firmware versions.

Expandable BYOM function.
Klick&Show K-FleX is the new generation of expandable wireless collaboration systems. The K-FleX basic version already offers users a wide range of functions to present audiovisual content from laptops or mobile devices in a really simple wayBYOD). The optional Klick&Show BYOM license key also transforms K-FleX into a fully-fledged BYOM wireless conferencing system.
The largely revised Klick&Show App for Windows and MacOS now allows software-based wireless transmission of laptop content in resolutions up to 4K @ 30Hz or 1080P @ 60Hz instead of the previous 1080P @ 30Hz.
Implementation of the innovative "dual desktop" function for simultaneous streaming of primary and extended desktop in BYOM meetings. (*)
Implementation of the "Share local content" function, which enables the main display to be mirrored back to the laptop so that local content can also be shared with remote participants in a BYOM call. The now optimized function also displays a red frame in the main display to alert all local participants to its use for security reasons. (*)
Implementation of the new "Start BYOM" function. This function can be used to Klick&Show K-FleX in such a way that the BYOM function (and thus the automatic start of the App when connecting a 4K transmitter) only takes place after pressing a correspondingly assigned function button, otherwise K-FleX behaves like a "BYOD" device. (*)
When using the Klick&Show 4K transmitter, the option to customize the 2 function buttons has been implemented and provides direct access to the following functions:
full screen, pause (freeze), HDMI switching, share local content, dual desktop, start BYOM.
When using the Klick&Show 4K transmitters, the option to customize the Show has been implemented. Pressing the button for 2 seconds provides direct access to the following functions:
full screen, dual desktop.
The individual parameters of the network status bar can now be hidden on a customer-specific basis if an administrator wishes to do so for security reasons.
Implementation of the "Reset Session" security function, with visual feedback on the number of active connections in the meeting and the option to immediately disconnect all active connections if particularly high data protection requirements make this necessary.
Display of the firmware version on the Home.
K-FleX allows airplay transmission with up to 4K UHD resolution.
Control command for HDMI switching added to the RS232/TELNET command set.

Fixed a problem where the audio output on the base unit was not sufficiently synchronized with the video.
Fixes a bug where the Airplay function does not work in some cases when using an Apple mobile device with iOS18.01 or higher installed.
Various minor bug fixes.

Known Errors:

When using the third-party product Sennheiser TeamConnect Bar S/M, attempts to adjust the output volume using the infrared remote control will result in an error.
